I hope you enjoyed the first week of Strictly!
As always, it’s very full on and a nerve racking experience not just for celebs but for pros as well. I’m so proud of Daniel and I think for his first performance he did a lovely waltz. What do you think??
The two weeks of rehearsals prior to the first show were very busy. On average I danced for about 6 hours a day with Daniel and in addition 4 hours of rehearsals on Monday with pros as well.
The week before the live show my life was very eventful, it was my birthday, I had my charity ball event and two private shows in the evening, at the end I was totally exhausted!!
Unfortunately, the stress and exhaustion begins to show on my skin and you can really see the lack of sleep under my eyes!!!
Many people ask me which is the one treatment I can’t live without and what skin care I use and swear by.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, I always research and try to find the right products for my skin. As we age, our skin tends to go through certain changes. Over the years, I have altered my beauty regime a few times to suit my skin.
At present, I am using a lot of Elemis products at the moment. The product I use the most is their eye mask. It’s really handy before a red carpet event or if I have to be on cameras. Sometimes I get puffy eyes and this mask always helps me.
I also have a wonderful beautician, Natalia Robinson. She offers a variety of facials and always tailors them to suit my skin type and target the stress areas. If you want to know more check out Natalia’s website
Recently, I have started doing a new treatment – Radio Frequency. I haven’t tried it before and didn’t really know how I will react to it. It feels like a little hot pulsation on my skin but it’s not painful at all. My skin got a little pink after the treatment but calmed down after 10 min. I only did it 3 times but I really love the result. The skin looks so tight and fresh especially around my eyes so I do like it !!
I would love to hear your thoughts and look forward to answering any questions.
Till next time…..
